I see a yearling out of Edermine Berry (dam of Dunguib) by Vinnie Roe is coming up in yearling sales at Fairyhouse next week.

What ye reckon?
Knocked down for 40k.

The Open meeting starts in Cheltenham today.

Anybody had a look at the card?
Just having a glance through it now as Iā€™ve decided Iā€™m not going to do any more work for the rest of today.

HangBlaa: Are they expecting Some Present to do the business today?

no word runt, but a smahing horse who should have a big big season. Toms yard is in good form at the minute, but Rubys ride is no slouch.

The open meeting is one of my favourite meetings of the year, kick starts the NH season.

Fancy Enda Bolger to have a double today with My Lord Oscar, who has run well since Listowel, and Garde Champetre (penalty kick).

Havent got stuck into tomorrows card yet, but would love to see Kevin Oā€™Donnells horse win the first, and he has a right chance.

After looking through the card I was just about to advise the same.

That French Opera could be very good in the 2m chase and thereā€™s a tasty novice chase to round off the day. Doesnā€™t seem to be as many Irish horses over there for todays races as in previous years.

would fancy knockara beau to be there abouts in the last raceā€¦having a god season so far and should like the ground

Iā€™ve had a decent punt on Lord Oscar in the first one off today.
11/2 with Flano. Money back if he finishes 2nd too.

Did an auld yankee with My Lord Oscar, French Opera, Garde Champetre and Knockara Beauā€¦

Emma Spencer

into 4/1 nowā€¦

My Lord Oscar made no impressionā€¦finished well backā€¦

Well backā€¦

Whatā€™s the offical going?

It certainly looks worse than the good to soft declared this morning

Is Tranquil Sea a raging certainty lads?

Could well have been pulled up for a finish upā€¦donā€™t know what the official going is but it looks like it is riding softā€¦

Nothing worse than riding soft. Iā€™ve had a massive 1 ew bet on Mongoose alert @200/1 in the next. On the grounds that its an 8 horse race paying out to 3rd. He is obviously terribly bad though.

I have a ten bob on William Hogart as a more realistic bet

Iā€™m on the favourite to recoup my lossesā€¦

Come on the Mongoose

Left it too late

Felt he should have been a bit closer turning for home. Two good looking horses though.

He seemed to be avoiding the middle towards the end which cost him a lenght
