On Knockara Beau too Puke, but worried about the double penalty. Giving weight to some decent horses here. Iāve a sentimental attachment to the horse as I got word for him in his bumper.
I see a Presenting yearling out of Be my Belle made 80k at the tattersalls sales this week. Good breeding there but thatās some amount in the current climate.
After looking through the card I was just about to advise the same.
That French Opera could be very good in the 2m chase and thereās a tasty novice chase to round off the day. Doesnāt seem to be as many Irish horses over there for todays races as in previous years.[/quote]
Won easily enough, which was most likely due to the fact I didnāt have a cent on
Come on Athlacca
I really like that race.
I was there in 07 when Spot The Difference won it and then ācollapsedā after the line. The roar when he got back on his feet was incredible.
Good old Spot, playing to the gallery.
Endaās schooling regime is unreal, the boss out in front and everyone else following behind on just broken four year olds jumping banks, into rivers, over dykes, gates, walls, whateverās there and all the boys scrambling over them all behind him. Nothing they see in Punchestown or Cheltenham ever fazes them after that up bringing.
Jonjo looks like he wouldnāt train Lassie to bark, the way heās going. Plenty horses leaving the yard never look back. Is it Evan Williams or Tim Vaughan who clocked up a sequence with a former Jackdaws inmate?
I wathed McCoy cantering home for a third win for Get Me Out of here in Ffos Las last sunday, and was just thinking to myself its a while since he had a handy ride liek that for Jonjoā¦
Said hors looks the part and it was a shite race, but Jonjo is really strugglin with a long while, must be driving McCoy mad the amount of dross he has to ride.
Itās hardly a coincidence Keen Leader trained off after a few years in Jonjoās. The Duke trained stacks of winners out of Jackdaws.
Any word for Cabernet Sauvignon in the next in Punchestown lads?
They should have gone for it when they had the chance by the looks of things!
I hsve a good feeling about Lacdoudal in the next in cheltenhamā¦
Dunguib going off 2/13 favouriteā¦fuck sakeā¦
Not sure Iād have run Dunguib in that ground myself but he did it effortlessly as usual.
Tranquil Sea being well backed in the Paddy Powerā¦8s into 6sā¦
Wins it with ease, never looked in doubtā¦super run
Come on Croom
Was Tranquil Sea impressive? I was toiling outside all day. All I saw was LāAmi pissing the banks race in Punchestown.
Fairly impressive alright, looked the winner a long way out, jumped very efficiently, idled a small bit in front but still won by 5 or 6 lengths if not moreā¦
backed tranquil sea in jewson last year. thought he was well handicapped on hurdle form. couldānt have him today on a 6 pound higher mark than his irish rating. this was his gold cup for sure. it was the worse renewal in years and was won by the most unexposed horse. quotes of 10s for ryanair are just crazy. id be amazed if progresses when stepped up in class. only an opinionā¦
Looks like the kind of day to follow Willie over a cliff
Edit - would love to see Solwhit blowing the Hurricane away but unlikely
