Theyāll all be happy now when they open this gift from me, thanks runt  -
Can`t wait until the Runt arrives at my house over the next few weeks and has to explain to his God son how he stole his first Christmas.
For shame Runt
Typical. The other tip I got from the same fella won @ 7/2
Sure he did Runt
Itāll be a cold xmas in the Dunph household this year. I had all the coal money on the Runts tip. Weāll have to wear layers upon layers of coats nowā¦
Iām sure those extra layers of blubber will keep yuo well insulated
Get a scarf Dunph-keep ye warm
How can you joke at a time like this you sicko.
Iām off now to the Vincent De Paul looking for a few dozen second hand coatsā¦
Iād rather perish than wear a scarf.
Ok folks, plenty of racing over the festive period, what are yere thoughts. Mickee has started his preview on KIBās back all outcomes thread, but we may keep the the real info here.
Willie Mullinsā yard have a cough run through it the last couple of weeks, and the horse are only coming right now, but the cold snap is not helping. He will not run them if they are not right thoughā¦ If he goes in Limerick over fences Sportsline is one I will be keeping the right side of. Entered in Leopardstown and Limerick, but the 2 extra furlongs and stifer trip in Limerick will would really suit this ladā¦ Harry Findlay will be running the Big Fella alos, but as the horse is aimed solely at the national this year it is hard to know what stage of his preperation he will be at.
Meade had a bit of bumper form at the minute, na medical card, noted by Mickee, ran very flat and one paced in Navan on Saturday, but looked to hate the geavy to glue type going, Gordon elliots, Our Aodh, beaten in to second looks like a decent one for a 2 1/2 mile bumper in January/Feb. and from Thurles in Sunday Cottage Star of meades was a good winner, but wouldnt be held in the same regard as Medical Card. The 3rd there spare shilling of Dessie Hughes will win a bumper also.
Nichols is the watched whatever appears, as he has scooped a few big Irish pots th elast few years. Not really tipping anythign yet, but looking forward to it immensely.

I see he pulled all 6 of his runners entered in chepstow.
Just reading on ATR that Hurricane Fly pulled up lame on Monday. Suffering with a sprained suspensory ligament. Willie isnāt sure when heāll be back on a track. Fair cruel blow but I wonder is the horse just injury prone?
This is shaping up to be one of the best festive racing calendars I can remember in a long time.

Just looking through the entries for Stephens Day in Limerick, some very good sorts entered. The Beginners Chase should be very good if even half of the horses who are automatically in take up their option.
Will have to keep an eye out to see what Charles Burns has lined up as well. He usually gives the yard a Christmas present @ Limerick.

Was it last year he had a winner at 33/1 or 50/1 that no-one had backed? Weapons Amnesty was last years present I think.
Keep an eye on 31 in the Beginners Chase Runt.

Not quite. He sent his christmas present out for a prep run in a bumper a few weeks before christmas, the amateur on board couldnāt keep a hold of it and it skated in @ 50/1 and not a penny on it
Anything with the suspensory is serious unfortunately.
I see the Irish Derby and Champion Stakes have had their prizemoney slashed by 250k by HRI, Staff taking 6% paycuts.
Thatās gas.
Is Kauto pretty much free money on Stephenās dayā¦canāt see anything in the field that will trouble him if he runs any kind of a race
