The stalker is back - part 2

Should be good today with Sal beginning to have flashbacks of the attack.

I also have a dinger of a Home and Away quiz now up on my bebo page for anyone who knows me on that wonderful medium.

Shit quiz Bandage. Try Susername’s if you want a test.

Her page is private.

Probably embarrassed by her feeble quiz.

It was a beginner’s quiz anyway. See if you can answer this then:

What was the name of Floss’ husband in Home and Away?

Easy. Neville.

Wait til you see who’s going to give me luv today on bebo. Best day of my life.

Bravo today. Bravo indeed.

Anyone on here who’s previously defended Tony Holden (you know who you are!) watch today’s episode and then take a long hard look at yourself.

I may not get to see today’s episode so fill us in (in spoiler tags). I have to concede that I was one of his defenders in the past.

I’ll do spoiler tags when I come back from the shop!!!

Today’s episode:
Boring stuff first. Beth got a cheap flight ‘today’ and was delighted cos she could be in France for Scott’s 30th birthday. (Tony said the other week that he was 40 so how old is that frumpy slag Beth meant to be?) She said her emotional goodbyes (even though she’s only going for a month) and then Tony broke down all emotionally and started going, ‘Please say you are coming back’ etc. Fooking weiner prick.

Real stuff. Ric was raging with Rocco. He wanted revenge. Sal persuaded him that leaving it to the police was best for all. Cops found car that Rocco had stolen a couple of miles outside town and were over taking a statment from Sal who was remembering more and more about the attack. Rocco went to the prison to see Johnny and was crying cos he didn’t know what to do, the cops were after him etc. Johnny told him to calm down and to do as he said. He told him he’s always looked out for him and to go to this particular house and lay low for a day or two until someone else came to collect him/give him more instructions.

Cops finished taking the statement from Sal and said they’d go speak to Johnny cos it was likely he was still influencing Rocco and might know where he is. They found out Rocco had been and gone and came back to update Sal, who was gone for a walk with Brad. Ric received the news and was well annoyed. He started shouting at Lara saying it was shoddy and ridiculous they didn’t have anyone waiting at the prison for Rocco as that was the obvious place for him to go.

Ric then went to the prison himself to talk to Johnny. He was saying that he knew Johnny had details of where Rocco was hiding. He was saying the cops are after him, he’s not smart enough to stay ahead of them on his own and he might even get shot or be killed by the cops in a chase/stand off. He was saying if you really care for Rocco you’ll tell me where he is so we can go and find him the proper way.

Now I don’t know if Johnny was setting Ric up but next scene Ric’s ringing Sal saying Johnny’s told him where Rocco is hiding and he’ll text her the address and she’s to ring the cops. He said he was going there himself and he’d meet the cops there. Sal was shouting at him saying to leave it to the cops and stay out of it cos it’s dangerous.

Ric hangs up and drives to the house. He goes in and it cuts to Sal, Brad and Matilda arriving outside in the car. Brad, being another semen guzzler like Tony, said it’d be better to wait in the car for the cops to arrive. The 2 girls say no, not while Ric’s van is there. Brad said he’d go in alone but then doesn’t protest at all when the girls demand to go in too. He tells them to stay behind him but then opens the door and holds it for the girls to go in first, the weiner. They all creep into the kitchen area to find Ric standing over the body of Rocco. And ROCCO appears to be DEAD.

The end.
[spolier]What a fecking hero Ric is! More shoddy work from the cops but Ric knew exactly what to do and how to do it.

Beth must be 47 or something. She’s been moaning about having Scott when she was young so if he’s 30 then she’s probably only late 40s.
I admit that Tony was a complete and utter fool last night, but I think that was him hitting rock bottom and the only was is up now. My complaint has always been that he was underutilised and just put there as a man for Beth. With Beth out of town for awhile I think we will see the real Tony Holden and it will have been worth the wait.

Managed to watch yesterday’s episode in a 10 minute window pre football yesterday. I fast forwarded all the Tony and Beth bits so can’t comment on that. Brad holding the door open for Sally and Matilda was priceless though.

Yeah I had to laugh at that, ‘I’ll go in first’ then he stands back and lets them in. he really is a pathetic specimen.

Amanda’s sister, Kelly, is some mingbag. You’d think they’d have got a decent bird in there.

Rocco is dead. I don’t have any sympathy for him. He had ample opportunity to break away from Johnny and the gang. There’s all sorts of witness protection programmes available as Peter Baker can well testify. Bad news for 'Ric though.

Top class episode:
[]Eric Dalby is a legend
[
]Sally Fletcher is a heroine
[]If Kate Ritchie doesn’t win the Logie after that performance today then Morag should investigate. Spellbinding speech
[
]Superb ending with the ladies hanging over the cliff
I didn’t think 'Ric Dalby could go up any further in my estimation but he has today. On the other hand Matilda Hunter can fook right off as far as I’m concerned.
Very emotional episode. I cant believe the prosecutor was allowed get away with bringing up Rics dad and there is no way she would just be allowed call Matilda without letting her know what if she hadnt been in the court room what was her next plan? I feel bad for Matilda the prosecutor was harassing her. Plus everyone says things in the heat of anger I hate the way they are then used against them as if that proves it.

Im a bit annoyed with Ric and asking Brad to look after the family thats what Alf is there for, that fool does not need any more encouragement.
One thing that I actually hate, and I rarely use that word in connection to such a phenomenal show, is that way these court cases are played. Every time it’s the same with an aggressive and overbearing prosecutor bullying the witness be it Ric, Matilda or whoever and them not simply having the guts to pause and say something like, ‘Excuse me. You asked me a question so please have the good manners to allow me to answer it fully and completely rather than you butting in and trying pick out the bits that suit you. By all means feel free to ask me a follow up question when I finish speaking but I demand you give me the courtesy of allowing me to speak without interruption.’ Instead Matilda mentioned today that Ric ‘didn’t mean all the things he was saying’ and the prosecutor jumps on this and Matilda blabs out that he said he wanted to kill Rocco. Then she tries to clarify the context and the prosecutor shouted her down. Then when Ric went on the stand she kept butting in also and he made no real attempt to face her down and demand that he be allowed to set the record straight in his own words. I suppose that’s where Morag’s failings come in. Her cross examination of Ric was awful. If there was much more detail from her angle and Ric could fully put across his emotions and thought process then they’d have stood a much better chance. As it is they had none.

I agree Morag was poor today. The whole case was a shambles caught out by two surprise witnesses she never even cross examined Matilda to try and let her explain and paint Ric in a better light. She let the prosecutor get away with far too much; she was overly aggressive with both Ric and Matilda but nice as pie to the actual convicted felon Johnny and Morag did nothing. I dont know why she was looking so shocked at the end when the verdict was read out. She had already begun talking about an appeal so its not like she was full of hope. I think she had a very negative attitude from the start she was more up beat with Hyde and he was guilty.

Morag is a brutal barrister. As a general dogsbody solicitor she might not be too bad - investigative work and case reasearch and the likes. As a speaker in open court she’s a disaster. Objections shouldn’t be timidly raised from the background. Morag needed to stop the line of questioning of both Matilda and Ric in its tracks. Far too much was let go.

The only hope is that there are excellent grounds for appeal because the jury was made aware of irrelevant but important information. I hope Alf hires someone else this time.

Also agreed that Ric should have asked Alf to look after everyone. Awful decision to speak to Brad.
