Sixth point of the tiebreak was outrageous. 4-3 Djokovic with a mini-break now.

It’s been a very entertaining set despite neither of them finding their best levels on a consistent basis. If I’d had any spare cash I’d have back Murray at 2/1 when he went 5-4 down. Come on Andy. You can do this.

Oh, what a miss on set point from Murray.

Nole looking nervous to me. Those forehands were loopy and not intentionally so.

Holy fuck, what a point. There were around three shots in a row where Djokovic looked like he was about to fall over.

Brilliant depth by Murray there. He really needs to take this. Djokovic very unsteady.

Djokovic looks like he’s going to fall over most times he hits the ball now. But Murray can always be trusted to bottle it on the big points.

Murray should have this won already, but he’s not getting it done on set point and he’s had a couple of chances. The longer it goes, the more you feel Murray has to win it. Another set point now.

Hon Andy!

Gets it done in the end, and now we’ve a match on. Could be a long night I’d say.

Some set, thought Murray was going to bottle it there.

I think Djokovic tends to play posom at times. And it works a lot.

Well done Andy. Keep it going.

Congratulations to Murray on his first major title. That was epic.

Fucking hell. I think I might be more bleary eyed than usual tomorrow in work.

Murray has never won a grand slam final in which he won the first set - that was only one final mind given that he never even won a set in any of the other finals.

Men at Work - Down Under playing over the PA now, for some reason…

True but if you throw enough shit at a wall it has to stick sometime.

He did it to that simpleton Nadal in Australia last January and the drug mule fell for it.

Repeated steroid use rots the brain (and shrinks the balls).

Anyone note that it’s the same disgusting hypocrites that are lauding this display of moonball by Murray that would usually be crying blue murder about another player using it?

Djokovic will win anyway, he’s a winner, he’s nerveless, he’s peerless, he’s the great Serb. Steroids can only make Murray run faster and longer, they can’t impact his loser mindset.
