Thank fuck places like Australia and New Zealand exist. Bad as Ireland is we can always look down our noses at those shitholes

It’s in the hands of the Australian judicial system now. I did read in the report of the interim injunction hearing that Judge Kelly enquired whether Novak had a tennis court at his hotel. That has to be an encouraging sign.

How many generations do you go back to when Australia was just a prison?

Just reading there that application forms had to be submitted by December 10th. Yet he is claiming his positive test on Dec 16th is his get out clause. He was also pictured out and about on Dec 16th. The whole thing is a clusterfuck, but Novak isn’t without fault here at all.

Novak is free, not Australia’s finest hour.

He’s won but the Aussies are still threatening to get rid of him.

I hope he destroys everyone en route to winning this

I believe the judge has said that if the Government try that she expects to be presiding over any appeal.

Serious egg on face stuff here and all over something so avoidable for Australia.

He has already tried to do that by not getting vaccinated?

The Aussies seem to be incompetent twats, what a mess they have created. Djokovic doesn’t help matters by being an arsehole but if he followed all the steps for an exemption and met the criteria then they shouldn’t have stopped him. I hope he wins now just to piss the Aussies off even more.

No. No he hasn’t

He’s definitely winning this open isn’t he. Should be good craic.

The Ozzys will be seething.

@Fitzy was always a big advocate here that Australia should be become independent from the mother country and Empire. What a laugh.

It will be worth it to see the aussies seethe especially the neanderthals in government. I wonder if the minister for immigration will revoke the visa now.

Like a cat with a ball of wool, we’ve all had our fun. Let the man play.*

*in a mask obviously.

Australian government have cancelled his visa.

A bad day for the rule of law and respect for the independence of the judiciary in Australia.

If Trump did this and exercised an executive power to overrule a court decision the usual suspects would be frothing at the mouth.

It’s Australia. What would you expect? Her Majesty and the Mother Country need to step in here.

Sauce?

Morning Ireland just now said it was being reported but not officially confirmed.

There’s no source.
