This has to be one of the more bonkers ones I’ve seen lately.

Two top endurance runners (one the only to ever do two Wicklow Rounds in a row)

I think it’s a brilliant idea to be fair. Cracking originality

If there are two lads that can pull it off too, it’s them. Yer man Paul was telling me before he’d run all night and not eat or drink, just to see his survival skills.

this fella is an animal

They got through the night grand anyway. Another bit to go

It was fairly cold up there last night. There’s ice/snow still on ground.

Ireland’s greatest ever ultrarunner Eoin Keith looks like he will win the Spine (currently 80something hours in). He’s won it outright in 2016, and the men’s in 2019. He basically does his own race. He’s had lads 6/7 hours + ahead of him, but they have blown up/got injured/sleep deprived, etc.

The race is 268 miles along the Pennine Way up from Derbyshire to Scotland

Aleksandr Sorokin is going for his own 24 Hour WR again today

New 100k World Record for Sorokin, he’s a fucking machine 06:05:41

Camille Herron has broke the World FV40 track 100km record, plus the US FV40 track 100km in 7.39.05, along with the US FV40 track 50mile & 50km record

This is a savage event

Alex Whearity, 100 miles in 12.42.04, different gravy

There’s running, and then there’s ultra running. This is pure insanity. He’s just completed his 87th hour I think.

Arguably the two greatest mountain 100 mile runners of all, Kilian Jornet and Francois D’Haene are still together 91 miles into the Hardrock 100. Jornet has done the race 4 times. Won it each time including one year he shared the win. D’Haene did it last year for first time and set course record. It’s going in opposite direction this year and they’re 40 minutes up on record for that. They might just finish together, which would be a little anticlimactic, but they’ve been together pretty much the entire race.
