Seanie is pure cracked. But this is a decent watch
This has to be one of the more bonkers ones Iāve seen lately.
Two top endurance runners (one the only to ever do two Wicklow Rounds in a row)
I think itās a brilliant idea to be fair. Cracking originality
If there are two lads that can pull it off too, itās them. Yer man Paul was telling me before heād run all night and not eat or drink, just to see his survival skills.
this fella is an animal
It was fairly cold up there last night. Thereās ice/snow still on ground.
Irelandās greatest ever ultrarunner Eoin Keith looks like he will win the Spine (currently 80something hours in). Heās won it outright in 2016, and the menās in 2019. He basically does his own race. Heās had lads 6/7 hours + ahead of him, but they have blown up/got injured/sleep deprived, etc.
The race is 268 miles along the Pennine Way up from Derbyshire to Scotland
New 100k World Record for Sorokin, heās a fucking machine 06:05:41
Camille Herron has broke the World FV40 track 100km record, plus the US FV40 track 100km in 7.39.05, along with the US FV40 track 50mile & 50km record
This is a savage event
Alex Whearity, 100 miles in 12.42.04, different gravy
Thereās running, and then thereās ultra running. This is pure insanity. Heās just completed his 87th hour I think.
Ridiculous
Just seen the Belgian āwonā. Keith must be sick
Arguably the two greatest mountain 100 mile runners of all, Kilian Jornet and Francois DāHaene are still together 91 miles into the Hardrock 100. Jornet has done the race 4 times. Won it each time including one year he shared the win. DāHaene did it last year for first time and set course record. Itās going in opposite direction this year and theyāre 40 minutes up on record for that. They might just finish together, which would be a little anticlimactic, but theyāve been together pretty much the entire race.
Not strictly ultra, but mad enough at the same time
its been done a good few times already
Killan Jornet just won UTMB, whilst positive with covid. What an animal
