My apologies, I didnât realise it as in print, I took it from social media. Throw up the correct article
Theyâre his quotes from the Examiner pod alright, but that wasnât they way he said it iirc
Ah I see.
Professional GAA is not a product that would be attractive to the public. Professional sport depends entirely on money and thus depends entirely on public interest. The entire appeal of GAA is based on playing for where you come from. If you professionalise that, players will no longer play for where they come from because it will be a job, and thus restricting transfers will violate EU law, and thus the public will have no interest.
God could you imagine Shane Barrett signing for Limerick, twould be like Figo going from Barca.
Things like this have been imagined in the past.
Start date now adjourned to 2029.
The Western Sheepsteelers
The North Ulster Kneecappers
Aido summing up well there why such a gap developed between the haves and have-nots. Weaker counties finished for the year in June, stronger counties stay going until late September, or October as in 2016. Tailteann and split season have taken away some of that advantage and we are now seeing an equalising of standards emerge.
Absolutely. Last yearâs Tanita Tikaram Cup winners Meath demonstrated that this year with their exceedingly competitive performances in the Leinster championship and round robin.
Yes, you can see the difference itâs made to Westmeath for sure
You can see it in Down as well, the Tailteann semi-finals were the best double-header this season. The very top teams are coming back to the pack a little as well, Dublin and Kerry nowhere near as dominant as AI finalists from previous years have tended to look.
Dublinâs decline is apparently due to the existence Trans-Europe Express Cup.
Iâve heard it all now!

Canât believe there was lads from here asking him for the baywatch photos
Aidan is a good lad. The abuse he got was disgraceful
remember he did that trading places show with a guy who played with the Miami dolphins & he was way more arrogant and up himself than the millionaire pro athlete
We were all young once
Why would anyone be bothered sending him a letter? DHOTY
Glenn Ryan has been 55 all his life.
Maybe he should kick the OâNeillâs in a final with laces out
