🌬 The Weather Thread part 2

I may indeed be a disgrace, but I found the certificate - the theme of the competition was ‘the force of nature’

Time to stock up on bread/diggers depending on what you plan on doing if the snow arrives

A lovely day yesterday drove up to Kinnity Castle and from there took a lovely stroll in the foothills of the Slieve Bloom “Mountains”.

You didn’t venture to Glenbarrow or beyont on the walkways? A lovely stroll all the same.

No I did not. I went up the Glendine Gap before and also have done the walks around Cadamstown. Lovely part of the country around there alright in terms of scenery and also how quiet it is.

It was supposed to be a blizzard here today. Its actually raining like fcuk. :frowning:

The Irish Independent website is obsessed with snow. The slightest hint of snow and the story is pushed to the top of the page - usually with a snowy scene and a hard hitting headline like ‘SERIOUS SNOWFALL EXPECTED!!’

Then you read the article and it is a yellow status warning, the SERIOUS SNOWFALL EXPECTED is over high ground and the snowy scene is from last year’s Beast from the East.

It’s hard to call. Damp drizzly wet kind of conditions. Great for the fishin.

Morons like anything hinting at snow. Indo likes clicks.
