It’s all gone to shit here in The Pale. Was like summer earlier.

Well heres a true story, baxk when i started at college my bro was headed out to murica, and asked did i want to go with him. Why not says I.
Anyhow, it turns out that we were headed to arizona. I didnt give it a second thought til we were on the plane.
"itll be hot here you know " he says.
I still wasnt overly concerned, and we duly disembarked in phoenix.
“its not that bad at all” i remember opining at the time, blissfully unaware that air conditioning was even a thing, until i walked out the front door of the airport, and oh my days, it was like walking into a wall. After three or four weeks you just got used to it, but ill never forget that blast.

True story here, I brought 3 jumpers to Thailand with me once (not Aran sweaters now, but you, know, “tops”), figuring I’d need something “in the evening” when it might get a bit chilly in coastal areas. As if I was going to Castlegregory or Ballyvaughan or somewhere.

I barely survived in a fucking t-shirt there at any time of day.

It is shamefully true. I never even knew there was such a thing as aircon.

i lived in Arizona for 4 months about 10 years ago from april to august
a horrible boring place- the heat was incredible allright but its a dry furnace - the pollution in the valley is unreal also where the 5 cities are
the worst i have ever experienced was/is tel aviv in august - 33 C continually and very high humidity - absolute torture

Whatever the opposite of a dry furnace is, it’s that right now in D7

A truly awful, awful day out… Got fucking soaked walking the dog… rookie mistake, went straight out in shorts after the gym… God help the cunts hurling in that today, or the poor fuckers watching it.

Got my 5K jog in at 8:30 this morning before it started lashing. I won’t stick my head outside the door again til tomorrow morning.
