🌬 The Weather Thread part 2

The primary school close to the site is closed today. They’d be in the same academy as ourselves. The secondary school is working with them but details are still very unclear. It might be a mix of Primary and Secondary school children involved. It’s absolutely awful.

Minus 4 in the capital

Some amount of kids hitting the deck on the school ‘run’ today. Slings will be as scarce as face masks were jn April 2020. Wonder has Baroness Mone a contact?

-5 in Killarney I’ve been told. -5 in leafless T12 :fearful::cold_face:

It’s the coldest place in Europe right now :cold_face:

@Thomas_Brady’s Basque DNA isn’t built for this weather

Your figures are all wrong. This is Cork. It’s colder

In fairness, it’s a balmy -3C in the lower slopes of Douglas right now. It maybe colder up on the slopes where you are pal.

Not @Tassotti so….

I managed to get down to the lowlands for a spot of emergency shopping.

If the average temperature for the remainder of the year falls below 4.5 degrees Celsius it will NOT be the hottest year in recorded history

It’s touch and go

The fog has cleared from Mid south-east Limerick.

Dungarvan was magnificent today, sunshine & 4 degrees

Lovely evening for a walk, clear crisp air.
