It was absolutely boiling here last night. Too hot to sleep, for the first time this year really. Last night of it though.
Was still 19 degrees at 6 am so must have stayed in the low-mid twenties most of the night.
I’m sitting in McDonalds and I’m too tired and demotivated to go to work. Its going to be a force of will today.

I’m going home to sleep now after the night shift. I don’t expect I will with this muggy air. Whatever about nights, trying to get some kip during the days in this heat is challenging.
The air will freshen up a lot as the day goes on. Summer ended yesterday.

I forgot to close the downstairs windows last night.
How right you were. I found it much easier to sleep yesterday, although it could have something to do with being totally knackered too.
