Do you recall the joyful summer of 1996, pal? It started in early May with Eimear Quinn’s Eurovision title. Then football came home in Euro '96 and Wexford went on their glorious march to All Ireland glory. Capped off by the Harriers defeating Oulart in the 1996 Wexford U16 County Hurling final on the day Dettori rode all the winners at Ascot. Can’t recall if it was warm though. Zig a zig ah!
