I walked around the Grafton Street/Stephens Green area there at lunch time.

What is suitable work attire for this hot spell?
I am sporting a short sleeved Blue and White stripped lacoste shirt with top button open together with Blue tie.
Suit jacket has gone by the way side.
How is Mr Totti surviving these conditons I wonder.

Under no circumstances should anyone wear a shortsleeves shirt to work, let alone a shortsleeved shirt and tie!
Wrong, wrong, wrong. Regardless of the weather

This.
How the fuck could a man grow to full age without knowing this? I’m trying to imagine somebody wearing a short sleeve shirt and a tie and I can’t do it.

I am wearing a long sleeved shirt with the cuff-links removed and the sleeves rolled up.
I have also discarded the tie and opened a few of the top buttons of my shirt.
I am sitting under the air conditioning vent.
Can’t complain.

Cat boots?
Are you fucking mad man?
I have no meetings with anyone this week so have agreed with my boss that I can wear shorts and tshirts. Shoes kicked off under the desk for good measure. Lovely.
Didn’t realise one needed to wear a long sleeve shirt and tie to spend all day posting on the TFK.
Poor by your boss. Formal attire makes you subconsciously more serious about your work. Casual attire, in the extreme case as you have described, means that you are more likely to do jack shit as evidenced by your above post.
Since I have discarded my tie I have felt my productivity drop. I shall wear it again tomorrow.
Shoes and shorts?
I’m having a quiet day after a hectic couple of weeks. Fuck off with yourself.

Tetchy. Must be the underlying guilt.
Anyone ever put a number in the amount of man hours in productivity lost to the TFK annually? The GDP of a small nation I’d bet.

And yet you’re posting here. What’s your point?
