The Weather Thread

That was some side line all right

He’s still the wells main man at nearly 40.

Was hurling Junior A a couple years ago…but went back to senior since then and was unreal in the county final last year when the well won.

Class act.

He was the reason we won against Clare in 96.

When Patrickswell are going well, Limerick generally follow suit.

Wouldn’t disagree with that at all but you have to remember that the Well traditionally made up an awful lot of the county panel

The weather thread and limerick hurling talk thrown in.Box Office. Its turned into a savage day in limerick.

Getting a great tan at the minute. Will love it in work tomorrow with all the fair haired lobsters glowing round the place and my perfect tan putting them to shame.

Thrilled with my tan.

The ground is parched. Could do with a drop of rain or there’ll be no long grass when championship rolls 'round.

Don’t be reminding @Turenne and @glasagusban that they are white.

It’s great having dark skin alright… Girls want me, and lads want to be me…

Pitches around the place are like rocks.

Legs are in bits… they could have done with a few more weeks of squelchy ground whilst getting up to speed.

On the plus side the ball is absolutely hopping off the sod.

Strange weather here. No rain in ages, but wind has been northerly for nearly a fortnight. Ergo it’s fucking freezing out of the sun, but roasting if you’re sheltered. I’d to light the fire last week. The day after I got sunburn.
20 degrees at 3pm yesterday. 12 degrees 90 mins later as the sun went it.

My moulded boots fell apart a few weeks ago and I couldn’t find a pair of rubber studs to replace them anywhere (could hardly find a place selling boots full stop), so I ended up with plastic stud ones and they made clean shit of my heal, been limping for days.

Same here. Got sunburned yesterday but there was a fire lit in the house around 9pm. Thought the axe would have been put away by this stage but I’m still filling baskets of wood.

I’ll be investing in my latest pair of Puma Kings shortly. Current pair are as clean as they’ve ever been but I’ll be kicking football with my big toe sticking out the front soon.

Cold in the north London hub that is Stansted. That northly wind would cut you, so it would
