A surprising lack of understanding of the conditions required for frost from you there.
Low temperatures do not automatically mean frost. The temperatures dropped significantly last night, but due to the fact there is no moisture in the air there was no frost. It was -3 driving into work this morning at 8am.
I think it’s moving east, in which case, with very light winds, it won’t hit Dublin til this evening. Its supposed to get worse here. I’ve had a fair bit of work cancelled
it most certainly did not feel like -3 degrees this morning… granted its’s flat calm out
notwitstanding the lack of moisture in the air id still expect to see a ground frost it it dropped that low (albeit its been very dry here last few days)
