Danny is still alive but he’s well into his 90’s. His youngest daughter Olivia (the Oli in Danoli) was buried last week. Very sad case. 48, cancer. Her husband dropped dead from a heart attack about 8 years ago. Very fit man who I hurled against back in the day. They’d one son who’s orphaned now, only 10 or 11.
Danny wasn’t out at the funeral. He’s in hospital and fading.

Thanks for the info.He sorted my SI joint out around 10 years ago.
After some painful manipulation,he put a patch on it and told me to stick to cycling on the flat absolutely no hills,and in a few days it will fall off at its own accord and youll be fine.
He was 100% right.Straight shooter and you pay whatever you think is fair.A rare breed.

Thankfully I never had reason for that kind of treatment. I haven’t heard of too many or indeed any who were too disappointed about their trip up to Myshall to Danny.
