That’s true but come on I’d a rake of kids in Derry in a deprived area but my kids got a cooked meal every day bar chipper on the occasional Friday
Which increased to each Friday when teens
All involved in some sports plus walking with dada
Lot to do with laziness and short cuts and lack of skills

Teaching a child to cook properly is probably the best life skill you can give them.

Also picked up basic stuff here
Plus his mother will tell him if busy

Shaun O’Dowd played in a pub in Limerick a few weeks ago. I saw some of his set, he gave Ding a Ling a good blast. Had never heard of him before, he has serious energy for an auld fella.
