I think without kids yes they are a huge part ya and closer to family than most relations you may occassionally meet. I think its all about time spent, i had 2 aunts die in the last while but it didn’t affect me like this, i might have seen them 3 times in 15 years or more. He was very unique in make up and personality and he was central to our relationship, we got him pretty early and has been there all the way.

Thats him on the right, remember that day clearly as it was one of the few good ones in august and we were out in the fields running and walking for about 3 hours. He went to work with me alot, especially in Oz so there is a big hole there.

That’s shit news. Sorry to hear it.
You do develop strong attachments and have great aul memories with them. Makes it hard when they pass.

Sorry to hear that Kev. The more time I spend with my own dog, the more I would like to be as good of a person she already thinks I am. When they do pass on, they leave a massive hole.

You’ll never replace Billy, but don’t deny yourself the fun and companionship a dog brings. There are plenty of mutts out there that could do with a Kev.

Could any do with a chocolatemouse?

Oh we have another dog. And in about 2-3 months we’ll get another pup.
We buried hom tonight in the parents back garden. I built an absolute belter of a box for him. Turned nasty then in the middle of the dig and it became a bit of an episode, myself digging and the missus and the mother pulling water out of the hole. We had a bit of a laugh about it. The GS sat on top of the box with billy in it. A bit surreal, but funny.

Its hard to explain but he was very unique. I didn’t really bother with having too many friends in oz, and i was quite gapoy with that as billy fullfilled that role superbly. We had 3.5 great years with him and unbelievable stories, so thats the way i’m looking at it. Should have been longer but he was well loved.

The other dog is struggling now. She didn’t really cop it till today and is seriously drpressed now.

Ah well, we’ll remember the good times.

Likebait. What’s his/her name?!

That’s Bobby. A three year old yorkie/westie cross that I picked up from the pound this morning.

Game changer

Fair play to you Fagan.

You can’t beat having a dog around, i love dogs but have nothing at the moment. Really thinking of changing that soon, this year. He’s a bit long in the tooth to have been holed up in a pound at 3yrs old? What’s his background do you know?

I bought the number plate B7RNA today.
How fucking pathetic. Im not even from there, I’m from over the hill.
I was bored in the cinema waiting to watch Eddie the Eagle, a feelgood family film I was dragged to, but thoroughly enjoyed, though I’m disgusted with myself for doing so.
I think I enjoyed watching the kids enjoying it.
The devil makes work for idle hands, as my ma always used to say.
