Things That Are Wrong

A group of us recently witnessed Farmer driving incorrectly down a one-way road in the current astro venue in Booterstown. He’d driven up the correct way, realised there was no parking so turned around and recklessly drove back down the way he came. ‘He’s some fooking idiot,’ cesc4 opined and the rest of us nodded silently. You were wrong Farmer.
I’ll have to agree with Bandage here. I’ve seen the big man park his car in a smallish car park and the difficulties he encountered were ridiculous. Much the same as we all would now have trouble sitting on the chairs we used in naonra, Farmer has to try to operate the controls of a car clearly too small for his stature(a tractor might suit you actually, Farmer-big steering wheel/slow pace etc). Folding himself into an illfitting focus also must create some of that rage we see online daily.

From the above post I shall single out three causes for concern re the driving of ‘loathing from Leitrim’…

  1. Stating he GLANCED down the road prior to exiting his drive- this exudes the presumption of correctness, a lazy driver. A glance is not enough, Farmer LOOK. As you might have seen the car which would be right up your ass in ‘about ten yards’.
-I will accept that Farmer’s vision may have been obscurred by the roof of his own car if his head was pressed sideways against it to fit in.

  2. ‘I nudged into the bus lane…and to block the car that was completely breaking the law’. Holy vindictive vigilante terror. Maybe being the big man induced fear in the schoolyard Farmer, but straddling the lanes of a national road to extract some vigilante ‘justice’ from the mother of a small child is sickening. You are neither the law nor an enforcer of it. Playing high stakes chicken on the roads of Ireland disgusts me.

  3. ‘the usual ensued’. This is a REGULAR occurrance. The enraged one obviously becomes embroiled in these onroad duels with alarming regularity, endangering ALL of us with his wild, feckless attitude to the safety of others. Like an old school cop whose face no longer fits, he drives the highways and byways of our fair land railing against perceived infractions, seeking to settle scores.

This thread is a testament to the rage he contains*. Farmer I urge you to get out of the car and cycle/ walk/get the train. It’s for the common good.

*International research has shown that road rage is often caused by unhappiness in other facets of life, and particularly in males, perceived inadequacies.
this has to be one of the posts of the year so far…

Larry - a few things:

  • it’s a good job driving ability is not measured by means of go-karting or else we would have seven year olds on our nation’s roads
  • I tended to lose the love and general give-a-shitness of go-karting when I was said age
  • I found it amusing pople discussing Saturday’s go-karting on the Friday night of said trip when I really only wanted to get hammered and talk general shite. Also I was deeply amused to see people blowing their load over fastest laps at the actual go-karting when I just wanted to be down the pub. I was incredibly amused to see it still being discussed on Saturday night when I was trying to suss out the Carlingford talent…

What? Don’t remember that…

Are you just making stuff up now?

I hear the Gardai are looking for you in relation to this incident and released this photo fit:

No, it happened alright. 'Twas pretty funny the way cesc4 blurted it out too. I was scared of the jerky movements you were making with your arms when I was in the car with you. I recall reading the paper at one stage and you leaning over dramatically and knocking it down out of my hands because you couldn’t see the wing mirror on my side. A simple ‘here, hold that paper down a bit’ would have sufficed. I was scared and uncomfortable as a result. Agreed with Puke on Juhy’s post above - 'twas a belter.

I believe to Gardai have been looking for him in relation to the above incident and have released this photo fit:

Farmer the discussion had centred around your driving. I gave my tuppence worth based on what I had noticed on the go karting track. I have never been in a car with you so I couldn’t provide any information on what you are like on the roads. Tend to disagree with you on measuring driving ability by go karting ability. While obviously it doesn’t provide a full picture the go karting does give some indication as to the abilities of drivers.

And I gave my opinion of go-karting…

What’s the problem…

Things that are wrong.

Lads getting so upset over their driving.

I am an excellent driver and to hell with the rest of the driving community. Drive it like its stolen.

thats the exact image that came into my mind when i was reading Juhniallio post…

Things that are wrong:

Lads in their 20s unable to drive (ie Bandage)

I can drive alright Farmer. I just don’t have a car or valid licence.

That’d be a no to the driving thing then.

Have you passed the driving test?

http://www.thefreekick.com/vbforum/images/icons/icon10.gif Rock posted this exact same picture around the time Farmer first got the Focus, I reckon everyone was trying in vain to post it first

Ha very good. I wasn’t aware. Is he really freakishly tall or it exaggerated?

A bit obvious really…

Cnutish motorists who won’t give way to weaving cyclists is wrong.

I was trying to get onto the middle of the road to make a right turn at an up and coming junction today, I signaled my intent to weave onto the middle of the road to the driver behind by outstreching my right arm and just as I was about to swirve across the fooker in the merc behind me decides to speed up just to box me in.

Unfortunately I had already made my move at this stage and the stupid cunt had to push down on his breaks to avoid crashing into me. Stupid baxtard could have caused a pile up by trying to save 5 seconds by boxing me in.

I could understand if I didn’t signal to the driver behind (most cyclists are cunts in this regard) but I did, fookers should relax, especially in 60kmh zones and just give cyclists the right of way.
