Silly cunt running into him acting the hard man in the first place.
It’s barely believable that this kind of shit isn’t being stamped out. It would be so simple to do with retrospective bans for anyone obviously seen trying to con the referee. It would only take one ban using video evidence to stop cunts like Busquets from holding their face when they aren’t touched and it would be all but stopped within weeks of a clampsown. It would be so much easier to judge than things like Balotelli’s stamp for instance.
Is there some reason I’m missing why FIFA/UEFA aren’t doing anything about it? It’s by far the biggest problem for soccer at the moment and is a serious fucking embarrassment for the game imo.
Indeed it is far bigger than racism or the state sponsored killing of football fans in Egypt
I knew some know it all cunt would say something like that.
State sponsored killing of fans isn’t actually that common while I’d actually think that the acceptance of outrageous cheating like this is a bigger problem for the actual game itself than racism which is more of a societal thing.
So because they are not issues exclusive to football they don’t count
I believe cheating is a bigger problem for the game itself at every level. It’s my opinion as I said above, you’re entitled to yours and no need to be such a smug, know it all about everything. It doesn’t suit you.
Even if we do accept it comes after mass murder and racism on the scale of problems for the sport of football, the cheating is far more common and much easier to stamp out than than the other too so I’d start there. Is there some reason why nothing is being done about it that I’m missing?
Chewy just reeling them in here.
A simple  can rattle the best of men
It is ny on impossible to stamp out cheating. While some cases are clear cut not all are, you may be able to use video evidence at the very top level but if is endemic andif “ cheating is a bigger problem for the game itself at every level” then you have to find a solution that works at all levels. Diving and feigning injury is part and parcel of the game and it is widely accepted in most footballing cultures just because you don’t like it and think it is unbecoming doesn’t mean it is the biggest problem in the game today
 It would be absolutely simple to stamp out at the top level and this would stop the terrible example it shows to other levels. It is also threatening to spoil a lot of top level games and tournaments themselves as a spectator sports. You think racism is the biggest problem, fair enough, I’d say the fact that most instances of racism are dealt with severely with court cases and massive bans while absolutely nothing is done about cheating to get fellow players sent off makes it a far bigger problem.
What court cases have taken place and what bans have been handed out in Russia where racism is seen nearly every weekend towards black players. There are cases nearly every weekend around Europe and nothing but lip service is paid to it
Do you honestly think that if Steven Gerrard gets a ban for diving or Sergio Busquets getting a ban for gamesmanship that it will stop lads going down easy in the box at junior or underage level all around the world? of course it won’t. And all your wishful thinking won’t make it so
poor Gola should really stay out of debates about football-his anglocentric views are so outdated
2 things i came across today on my daily stroll through malahide demense were very wrong
a young couple going for a walk with a rugby ball which they threw to each other as they walked along
2 lads walking togther with a small dog each-each dog had a designer coat on
The going down easily in the box is, as you say, nigh on impossible to judge in most cases. The simple thing to get rid of would be fellas going down holding their faces when they haven’t been touched that’s all. There are dozens of examples from massive games over the last few years where there was 100 per cent agreement were out and out cheating. Perfect example is the German one above. Busquets is constantly at it and it spoiling the enjoyment of the greatest team ever to play the game for an awful lot of people for another.
Just think as a lover of the game they should do something about it and am genuinely surprised you don’t. That goes some way towards answering my original question about why nothing is done though as others must think like you that it’s not a big deal.
Would no one else agree it is a major problem for the game which could be easily eradicated?
it adds to the excitement you mong if players feign injury-adds to the thrill of the occasion
this isnt bridge or croquet so quit whining if certain players are machevellian
It is human nature
I’m with gola here. If my young lad feigned an injury I’d be first on the field to give him a thump. Sorting out the pros would bring about a culture change which would trickle down to amateur levels.
people crying over whitney housten’s death. she was a junkie. got what she deserved
Have to disagree with that. I have great sympathy for anyone with an addiction which often is symtomatic of some underlying unhappiness/problem. Just because some people are rich and famous do not make them any less deserving of sympathy.
