Things That Are Wrong

I was dipping in and out of RTÉ’s week in review on Radio 1 yesterday morning and they included at least three clips from that cunt Callan. None of them were funny.

A tough day on the surf?

You don’t surf much WCB, do you?

Of course no fear that the children would actually be cutting the grass.
Death is a fascinating topic.

I’m involved in a project presently on the history of Limerick City’s biggest graveyard, Mount St. Laurence. Part of the project involves interviewing people who have loved ones buried up there about their background to get a social history of the city and what kind of characters are buried there. But it also delves into mourning rituals, the mass, fashion etc etc.

It’s fascinating how funerals and mourning have changed, from the women clad in black for the rest of their days, blinds drawn for a week and the dead person being layed out in the old habit like costumes and then onto today’s circus.

The one thing a lot of them have said is that while today’s funerals celebrate the person more, there is too much music and gimmicky stuff going on. People really want to make the occasion as sad and emotional as possible. I’d have to agree, It’s gone ott in some cases. A few words and a nice hymn should suffice. But such is life and good luck to Mac’s old flame, but I personally think It’s wrong.
g’way ta fuck with that story. You are above there sharing needles with the residents.

Devils bit, kid.

Tinned tuna. I love tuna steaks but just cannot get to like tinned tuna. I buy it every so often as its such a cheap and healthy food but it nearly ruined an otherwise lovely lunch.

Try bottled Italian tuna steaks inOlive Oil. A bit dearer but nice.

How do you get it out of the bottle?

You rub it three times.

Moyes strikes me as someone who’ll take a while adjusting to the media attention he’s going to receive as manager of United.

He is a dour fucker but his scowl needs further work

Yer man who killed that journo on Camden Street got 5 1/2 years with 2 suspended today. The cunt had been doing boxing training and as far as the accounts go, hit the poor chap with a sucker punch and then did a victory jig when yer man went down. To only spend a few years in the nick for that is just insane.

Bad sentence alright. Had a good number of galwey types to vouch for him at the trial. Hopefully he gets some proper justice in the joy or wheatfield

Aye, his employer said he’d re-employ him as soon as he gets out of jail. If I was family of the deceased I’d burn that cunt’s business to the ground.

Time to do away with this nonsense of character references for the defendant. Sentence the cunts on the basis of their breach of the law and the victim impact statement

Agree. As if “he came from a fine upstanding family” mitigates the crime. If anything it makes it worse as the person involved had a better chance than most before the courts to stay out of jail.

Are we still talking about tuna here?
