I’m almost always very nice (a) because it’s a tough job these people have to do and (b) because I am totally at the mercy of these people. I don’t want to get an unnecessary jab of a syringe in the hole as an act of retribution for a surly demeanor.

Blind man gets on the bus into town here. Goes to get off at Dunluce Rd. Bus driver says to him are you going to the Beachcomber- which is about 200 yards away. Yer man says yes and the bus driver says hang on so and I’ll drop you down there.
