Cringe.

No wonder Cork beat Tipp. The true cause of all the trouble is only coming out now.

What does he do for a crust now? Gambling problem was it?

Tipp for liam 2017 file this

Like I said.

Darren no longer enjoys the presumption of innocence.

Dreadful carry on.

I’d drop him. Unless he’s an awful cunt that shows no signs of remorse (a la Lee Bowyer in his pomp), he surely can’t be unaffected by this.

Also hearing rumours that the lunatic corner back might be back in training (cc @Brimmer_Bradley)

At least he’s used to the group showers if he has to do a stint inside

Why he’s getting off with only making a guilty plea to one of the charges?

Saves em the hassle of a court case, but it says the other theft will be put before the court as well so would factor in sentencing. I presume a 6 month suspended sentence will be the order of the day.

Can’t understand why they’d throw money at Mooney.

Is there any chance this thread would be usedoing to discuss games instead of scandal, lies and innuendo.?

How’s the club scene at the moment. Who’s going well. Any fringe players making a name for themselves?

The presiding judge, His Honour, Judge Thomas Teehan is from your adopted part of the world, I believe @iron_mike.

It should also be noted that the original charge involved another count of fraud for over €60k. My understanding is that part of the original charges were “withdrawn”

The charges against the star hurler are that he stole €50,000, by lodging a cheque made payable to himself and drawn on the account of a woman, on May 21 of 2014; and €10,000 on February 26 of 2015 by lodging a cheque made payable to himself and drawn on the account of the same woman; and stole €1,960 on September 6 of 2013, via the same method.

He is also charged with stealing €22,000 from a man on November 29 of 2013 by lodging a cheque made payable to himself and drawn on the account of that man; and with stealing €10,000 from the same man on February 25 of 2013, using the same method.

All mention of the additional charge has all but disappeared from t’internet, none of the main news sites still have it and even a link I was sent on the story at the time goes nowhere.
