There was a lot of talk that Treacyās could win the County early in the year. When CKC beat them in the West, regardless of how many were missing I had my doubts.
They do have a nice young team coming through though.
Delighted for him. He had Conor Mortimer on his show on Tipp fm yesterday evening. To paraphrase Eamon Dunphy, it was the first time I ever heard two men have sex on the radio.

Ahearne was sent off for two yellows. I missed the 1st one but the 2nd one was for a slap on a lads hand and he canāt have any complaint.
O Brien was given a straight red. It happened after he was going in on goal but was pulled up for steps. A bit of a melee ensued and he was given a red, while Paul Curran who he was tangling with got a yellow.
Doubtful if Tom will be back. Looks like it might need a pin. Didnāt even tog as a sub today.

Good to see a few young lads alright. A lot of that team have serious miles put up. A few more young lads with good potential in the next few years coming as well. Days like today give them something to aspire to.

The Kildare lads having a major influence.
Iād like to see Borrisilleagh in the final. My unclesused to rave about the colour they brought to the finals in the early 80s. Seemingly they used to have a cock hen tied with baling twine follow them in the pre match parade.
Two big units who are very effective club hurlers. Both lack distinct attributes for the the next level though.
