Tipperary GAA 2021

Shur lookit. They are cashel men now.

What’s done is done.

They must be very proud of themselves.

The Crosco Cup Final will be something else if Kickhams and Cashel both win their semis midweek.

When did the transfers go through officially?

They were officially confirmed on Thursday last

I’d say pissed off at having to clean up their own mess might be part of it too

Would you really lean that way though?

They are living in their home parish and have only looked to transfer due to off field issues caused in part by themselves.

It makes a mockery of the parish rule & I’d imagine the Co Board are worried about the precedent it sets.

I haven’t really being paying attention recently, on what basis has the transfer actually been granted? Did they provide addresses in Cashel?

Not originally anyway

No

Whatever the wrongs and rights of it, the CKC man I was talking to was certain that the Board couldn’t actually stop it under rule and they were liable for a hole-opening if they pushed it for a full DRA hearing

I’d say the parish rule doesn’t stand up these days.

It’s only a sort of guideline.

Boundaries are very vague in rural Ireland and now only the real auld lads know exactly where one parish meets another.

Anyone from Knockavilla & Dundrum knows exactly where Cashel bounds them & it’s not at the addresses given
