Borris-Ileigh beat Templederry by 25 points without Brendan Maher, Dan McCormack, Paddy Stapleton and Kevin Maher in the North.
Literally 25 points, 2-34 to 2-9. I would have thought that would be very close with all those missing

They didn’t win the intermediate. They went up having gotten to the intermediate final only to be beaten by Sean Treacy’s. Both finalists went up that year.
Templederry are a poor senior B team with underage numbers in the doldrums. They’ll be a junior team soon enough unless they amalgamate.

They always had a few very good hurlers but never enough they’ve been amalgamating with Ballinahinch in recent years with Ballinahinch providing more of the team at times. Ballinahinch like.
