None of the regular pundits or journalists will post such a piece for fear of damaging the Jackie Tyrell opinion of letting the game flow (basically no rules).

If it takes a poster on a forum to raise the issue then so be it. Limerick would have won this years all Ireland in any case.

While I have a low opinion of many (sports) journalists and pundits, I think you would find, if you googled a bit, there were a lot of articles published advocating ‘not letting the game flow’, so to speak.

Then again, lack of consistency is most sports journalists’ stock in trade.

The fact that the mot skillful hurler in Limerick Ronan Lynch isn’t on the Limerick panel at all tells you all you need to know about Kinnerk-Ball and what they are trying to achieve.

Nope. And that’s a categorical no. Whatever about his skill level, his work rate is not at the required standard for the game that Limerick play.

DH was levelled with the exact same criticism for lack of ‘work-rate’ when in the forwards as RL. He was just given a shot at it in the backs.

RL was never given a shot anywhere after a League semi final in Thurles about a fortnight after an All Ireland Club final. RL’s pedigree stands up to all scrutiny.

SF is more skilful than CB.

Dan Morrissey is more skilful than PM.

Barry Nash is far more skilful than BH.

KH is far more skilful than SK.

DO’D and AF, at worst, is equal and I would be inclined towards DO’D.

WO’D and DMcC, at worst, is equal.

CL is more skilful than JF.

TM is far more skilful than MB.

JM and AG is pretty much equal.
