Heard some of the personal abuse that Big Darragh Egan was resorting too was very unseemly. Not the nice guy on the sideline he portrays himself as in front of the cameras
Yes, Iām not sure what heās like on the sideline for Wexford and I didnāt think he was that bad when he was with Tipp, but for Kildangan, he is constantly letting himself down.
I think theyād be better off without him to be honest but Iām not sure heād take a backseat.
There was a serious undercurrent across the draw and replay which was great to see from a neutral perspective.
That was a stroke of genius to be fair
Iām still flabbergasted an intercounty hurler was getting praised for being cajoled into playing a club county final instead of doing a fun run in Dublin.
Laughable, a chore to play for the club.
Go easy, maybe he was in with a chance of winning the race?
Do you not get that he was running and fundraising for a cause close to his heart?
If he had been going around collecting money off people for the past few weeks/months, he probably felt he was letting those people down.
Iād say theyād have demanded it all back in an instant and all.
I do but I think those people would have no problem in him playing a county final for his club. Shouldnt be an issue.
Thereās a marathon every few months
Thereās a marathon pretty much every weekend in Ireland. And a fella can go out the road and run one anytime he feels like.
For example, thereās one in Clonmel Saturday week.
Would the Bonnars Hall of Fame status be under threat now because of this? (I presume in Tipp heās considered a Hall of Famer because he won an All Ireland v Kilkenny in 2010)
I knew he was a wrong un after his cowardly stroke in the 2008 u21 Munster final.
Cracking tune in fairness.
Jerome Cahill referring to Kilruaneās Heritage and Tradition in some post game interviews while also mentioning Kildanganās lack of it was interesting.
Might be something for Coach Egan to use in pep talks when they meet again.
If heās there. I heard a juicy rumour at 5 a side last night that there was a pint poured over his head after the drawn game by a disgruntled team member who was dropped for the replay
Did the disgruntled team member get brought on late to take a few frees?
Anyone able to post this article?
I was in Easonās the other day and saw a Padraig Maher book. Didnāt know he was bringing out a book.
Cool story bro
Passed through Solohead earlier.
Serious colour on show. World Cup 2002 levels of flags, bunting and signage. Theyāve really embraced it and certainly arenāt keeping things low key.
A Solohead man i met during the week claimed Michael Cahill is eligible and can play tomorrow but Iām almost sure he played Mid Championship during the summer. Even if he isnt involved Redser will bring the star appeal for Thurles.
