Great days attending games back then. Might have had my first bottle of bulmers that day. It had been an era of new kids on the block with Offaly, Clare, Wexford. Finally got an introduction to the Cork Tipp munster final as was too young to appreciate those games in late 80’s early 90’s.
We’d a feed of pints before that game. Beating Clare down in Cork in 2000, we had some session. Back to Naynagh then afterwards for another feed of liquor. Great days.

He’s probably more of a half back but his size comes against him
Yes, he’d be more solid than Quirke. Wouldn’t make mistakes. Not as athletic going the other way.
