Tipperary GAA 2022

He was the best of them this year.

Has never fulfilled his talent for me was the best minor Iā€™d ever seen, apart from the Cork semi in 2017 heā€™s drifted through big games

He was hurler of the year in 2016, so he was. Potential fulfilled.

Comes and goes in games. Iā€™d say concentration is a big issue even as a minor. That day in Limerick when he soloed up the field in the minor final lost the ball and Tom Morrissey ended up sticking it in the back of the net was a premonition of how his career would pan out.

Looking at their respective squads from this year, that would my assessment, yes.

Players wielded the knife

The management committee of Tipperary GAA met last night to discuss the 2022 senior hurling season. Following a very comprehensive review the management committee have made the decision to relieve Colm Bonnar from his duties as Tipperary senior hurling manager.

Tipperary GAA wish to thank Colm for his contribution during his time as senior hurling manager and wish him well in to the future.

Tipperary GAA will be making no further comment in relation to this decision.

Ends.

Feel kinda sorry for him. On a hiding to nothing this year with all the retirements. Blooded a lot of young players

Night of the Long Knives

Shocking treatment of a really decent guy.

He was very unlucky.

He also wasnā€™t really cut out for it. He answered the call when he got it

Cahill
Cummins
W Maher (he will never get it, will he?)
Fanning

Not sure who else is a realistic candidate at moment. Iā€™d reckon Cummins would like another year with u20s.

Iā€™d imagine efforts will be made to get Cahill and Bevans in.

They should never have given him the job in the first place if they werenā€™t going to trust him to see it through.

Hard to see what anyone could have done better given Sheedy had blooded no young fellas, half the old fellas retired and the other half were injured. Heā€™d to build a whole new team.

Now maybe the setup wasnā€™t up to standard, but who is wielding the knife? Itā€™s hardly the young fellas and if it is the experienced fellas, then itā€™s the same fellas worried they werenā€™t going to get a call back this year.

Why wouldnā€™t Gleeson be in the running?

It wasnā€™t at all. It was very poor. Believe me on this.

His appointment was a complete clusterfuck from an inept county board.

Heā€™s a convicted criminal which is a bit of black mark against him.

Did Dunne leave because it was poor, or was Dunne leaved because it was poor?

Dunne agreed to do one year because Bonnar couldnā€™t find a coach
