Tipperary GAA 2022

I don’t think it can be underestimated just how big a mess Cahill made of Waterford this year.

He seems to be getting a free pass for it too which is a little odd.

They should give him another year just for the craic

Heart wasn’t in it

Before the start of the Tipp match in Walsh Park this year he was taking selfies with Tipp supporters. That said it all for me.

Before the League final in Thurles, he was talking to Big Robert Ryan instead of watching the Waterford warm up.

No wonder his players downed tools for a finish.

Thats not a good look alright. His head was turned last year. Hard to go back when that happens.

When you’ve a reputation for getting up early you can sleep all day

Counties like Waterford, Clare and Wexford have little or no chance with the round robin system. They have to be flying it way too early in the year to get out of the round robin and legs go from under them.

It’s no surprise Waterford done well in the old system in 20 and 21.

If fully expect tipp and cork to be getting out of Munster next year along with Limerick.

Tommy

That’s what I heard too. Bonnar thought getting someone with football experience would mirror what Limerick were doing with Kinnerk :laughing::laughing:

I could not believe it when I was told. I was telling @Bod95 last week and I think he thought I was gone nuts. How long is Barry Heffernan out for?

@mick_jones any idea?

Someone mentioned a cruciate but didn’t hear anything since

I heard cruciate in the North Final alright.

Unfortunately yes, huge loss. Dara Quinn back fit would help, but ultimately too much of a loss to compete any further

Typically 6 months. Although 9 if you are ultra cautious. Should be back in time for the league.

Its 6-9 months from the operation.

Usually its a month between injury and operation.

I would say there is no chance he plays any of the league in 2023.

I’d nearly rule out next year from a Tipp perspective for him

Just an amazing coincidence.

For me, second time around, it was very simple.

It was such an honour that I couldn’t turn them down, again
