An enjoyable evening put down at the homecoming (albeit it was dragged out)

The lovely Una Healy and affable Two Johnnies pucking out the tunes for all in attendance

The roar for Noel McGrath when he was introduced to the crowd was a highlight…its been a pleasure watching that man hurl for Tipp for the last near 20 year between juvenile and adult…be great to squeeze one more year out of him.

Never knew the weasel was a Tipp man

A few years ago, everyone laughed at the Miller Shield being played in Tipp but its worth noting that 5 lads who played on Sunday played in it.

Rhys Shelly, Robert Doyle, Eoghan Connolly, Andrew Ormond and Alan Tynan all played in it. Johnny Ryan too who was an unused sub on Sunday.

Dillon Quirke RIP was the winning West Tipp Captain.

That’s a great video of the Tipp boys giddy pinting with a video in the background of Richie Hogan earnestly saying that only Ronan Maher would make the Cork team and that he worries for them. Wooly saying that LC will never learn and they’re always burnt out by June. That eejit of a Cork wan on OTB even gets an airing. They all seem to be drinking the Tipp Chardonnay.

I can’t remember when two All Ireland wins like this year and last year were as well received around the country. People have really warmed to this Tipp side and last years Clare boys

And Kerry still to come

With Cathal Barrett gone, even the Kilkennys don’t have someone to despise

Barrett must be sick with Tipp’s win.

7:45 to 2:19

That’s the total score of Tipp’s last three second halves in AI finals against their opposition scores. Killers.

We were all fairly wrong re Tipp this year. But tradition counts for a lot.
