Tipperary GAA 2025

:confounded:

5 Under 20’s involved and I’d expect all to get a good bit of ā€˜gametime’ in the League.

Been a long time since there’s been a single U20 feature with Tipp at Senior so for 5 to come along at once is a start.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and the current squad in general is very weak but no reason why we can’t start competing again from 2026 and winning All Ireland’s from 2027/2028.

This is like when @Big_Dan_Campbell started talking in hushed tones about stirrings at Detroit. You can feel something happening.

Its not a case of when, but how many…

I remember when Kilkenny were in dire straits and they came down to Laois in the mid to late 90’s along with Mick Dempsey to examine the Laois Football Development Squads to model their own Hurling ones. Within a few years you could feel what was coming.

Its not dissimilar.

We’d never take advice on Hurling from anyone, but I get you.

With a KK and Dublin men in the backroom team you can’t say that anymore. Tony Browne there before that.

Its nice for these lads like Herity and Browne to be able to go around picking up the cones.

I doubt Liam Cahill himself will be there for any of them

Donoghue was involved with EOS as well wasn’t he?

I think the hope would be he does no harm.

Jim Kielty had to teach them how to run in Babs’ time

Is Sheedy plotting his third stint yet?

Portroe men are always plotting.

He is.

There’s a lot of jockeying for position going on now between Sheedy/Woodlock/Cummins.

A lot will depend on whether or not Cummins makes a balls of the U20’s this year. If he does, then he’s out of the equation but I dont think he can.

Would Woodlock have the stuff for senior I/C? Strikes me as a similar sergeant major type to Cahill

I’ll leave that to @StoneCold

Based on his time with Drom I’d say not. Very much a his way or the highway type which is fine with young lads

That’s a really poor full back line
