I know Bill Maher and Jerry Seinfeld are
“The most famous musician interaction at Citi Field in recent years belongs to 50 Cent, who threw a first pitch so wide that it has been a staple of blooper reels ever since. 50 Cent told Newsday in 2018 that he is both a Yankees and Mets fan. The same could be said for Billy Joel, who grew up a Dodgers and Yankees fan but has since become more synonymous with the Mets. Joel sung the national anthem before games in the 1986, 2000 and 2015 World Series, and headlined two sold-out “Last Play at Shea” concerts in 2008”

Meh, he plays off both the Mets and Yankees. I suppose you’d think he is more likely to be a Mets fan given that he comes from working class background and grew up in Queens. Although he was born in the Bronx.

Half an hour behind but lining up for a a classic Room to Improve here tonight. I wouldn’t mess with this one

The Meaning of Life with Mary McEvoy on RTE 1 now. McEvoy is actually a very interesting character and I’m finding this episode very entertaining. I also thought she was in her early 60s. She looks very good for 70. Maybe there’s something to be said for the auld Buddhism.

There was a sad tale on room to improve last night… the client had lost her husband to cancer at 39 yrs of age… anyways the local community has organised a fundraiser for the unfortunate man’s family which included a 5k run…
At the start line of the 5k the compere told the crowd it was more of a leisurely stroll than a run…
I don’t think this lad got the message :joy:

The woman pushing the buggy was the widow of the man who passed away…

Some man to run downhill

I was tempted to give it the Eamonn Coghlan in Helsinki as I stormed past but thought better of it given the circumstances.

That Dart Kings on Sky Documentaries is a grand show. I didn’t realise how close Taylor and Bristow were. The night before their first world final they shared the same hotel room (twin beds).
