Tour de France 2014

no joy yesterday, the real climbs start today and a breakaway should succeed, my money is on Rodgers 22/1, Spilak 50/1, Schleck 66/1.

Nibali stamping his authority all over this race, going for the stage win here again.

Richie Porte has cracked and is almost three minutes behind the yellow jersey group. Nibali has attacked Valverde with just over 6km to go with a Froome-like acceleration to join the two leaders up the road.

Nibali goes clear with 2km left leaving Konig and Majka trailing in his wake. Valverde and Pinot are 43 seconds behind, Porte has completely blown and is over 6 minutes behind.

Total domination from the Sicilian.

Didn’t look especially tired either :rolleyes:

Three French riders in top 5. Good signs

Fairly would sicken you watching valverde at the sharp end of a race though.

Nibali on the rampage again as he blows the main group away with an effortless attack just over 3 kms from the finish.

Unbelievable.

Valverde in big trouble as he’s been dropped by a group containing Pinot, Van Garderen, Bardet and Frank Schleck. Majka wins the stage, great effort after coming second yesterday.

Nibali looked ridiculously comfortable there. Fucking hell. It looked leisurely.

He’s taking the piss now.

Indeed. Compared to Majka and some of the rest of them who looked utterly fucked…insane

Yeah. I thought Majka looked like he was going to have a heart attack.

Not normal

Id love to know what he’s on though.

He’s very skinny yet very powerful so I would guess that AICAR stuff they suspect Wiggins and Froome were on. Loses your excess weight but keeps/improves your power. I don’t think there’s a test for it yet…?

It’ll be sad if/when Niabli is found out. Was he ever suspected before?

He’s making it look effortless everyday at this stage.

Why will it be sad? Only simpletons believe in this fraud of a sport.

He was linked with Dr. Ferrari a few years ago although he sued to deny what was printed about it.

Which sounds somewhat similar.

The non gulping in of air going up the col today was similar too. That stage in 1999 was when an old French soigneur whispered wide-eyed to someone…I can’t remember who wrote it…that LA was juiced beyond belief.
