To the Downloaders out there, any of you using magnet links? Pretty rapid download from them as opposed to the usual web based links as far as I can see so far, just tried it there tonight for the new ep of Community and it was down in a matter of minutes.
Also anyone ever watch The Big Bang Theory? Is it worth a look at?
big bang theory is a good show…but then suppose it depends on how you like your comedy…only got into it last season and find it very watchable …havent seen much of season one…sheldon is the heart and soul of the show …blondie is a fine bit of eye candy too…
Finished the last episode of “Our Friends In The North” last night. Riveting stuff all the way through and required viewing for anybody who has an interest in how modern Britain developed.
Series focusses on four friends from Newcastle and how their lives developed in different directions over the years. Each of the nine episodes is set in a different year, starting in 1964 and ending in 1995. The storylines are set against the backdrop of real life political events such as the Labour movement, general elections, political corruption and the miners’ strike and so on. It has a really good cast and supporting cast, great performances from Christopher Eccleston and Gina McKee. Daniel Craig is one of the main characters as well. Makes good use of the music of the time all the way through, ie. in the last scene of the last episode Craig’s character crosses the Tyne bridge with Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back In Anger” playing in the background.
Anyone watch the latest ep of Californication? Haven’t checked but I presume its the last in the series.
Poor ol Hank is fairly fucked now it seems, still he went out on a high, fucking all round him and slapping the shit out of that agent cunt. Classic use of Elton Johns Rocket Man to boot. Still a very decent show for what it is.

Agreed. An absolutely brilliant series with superb acting the whole way through.
They’ve released these two pictures as teasers as in previous seasons, I presume Locke is meant to be JC, after that, anything is up for grabs I guess.
Interesting to see Claire in both the picture, however she seems to be the only one sitting whose legs we can’t see in the first one, is dead dead on the island? Same goes for Myles in the second.
Also there seem to be skulls at the feet of Hurley and Sayid, will this mean both will bite the big one this season?
Lost taking their marketing tricks from BSG I see.
Carprica starting in February as well btw.
Currently watching Deadwood, great programme.
Lost have been doing these sort of promos for a while now Turenne. Still have to watch Caprica, the love for BSG is gone for me. Might give it a whirl at some point, but have so much to watch at the moment, I might just let it build up and dive into it at a later stage. Am enjoying V though, and I didnt think I would.
Watching the BBC version of Life on Mars, it’s good but I had been expecting it to be savage. Three episodes left in season one, I’ll watch them tonight now that Arsenal - Bolton is off. I’ve heard the climax is savage, it better be.
