No, I download TV shows from eztv. New shows in States go up overnight, and available to download then first thing in the morning, show is then ready and waiting when I get home in the evenings. Grand little system.

I do everything from torrents, so i never even heard of that site, went in to see what it’s like, and they asked me to pay. A small enough amount, but it was still asking for money and a credit card. Haven’t had a credit card in 10 years, but i certainly wouldn’t be giving it to a crowd like that.

What’s the benefit of downloading these shows rather than streaming them on something like surf the channel?
Downloading takes longer before you can actually watch them and takes up space on your hard drive. What are the advantages?
I have a 1TB HD. Download AVI file, transfer them to my plasma and watch em in style. Streaming isnt as good quality. Plus I can keep what I like.
Streaming can be very hit and miss, even at its best you can get quite a lot of lag and it can be choppy, particularly if your downloading something at the same time.
