That makes sense.
It is - it’s just the right amount of weird / dark with a decent storyline so far.
It’s also nicely connected to the original material. Not too much that you’d really be missing anything but enough so that those who are familiar with the original and the half baked movie would get extra value from it.

Started watching The Godfather of Harlem. It’s ok. I’m getting a bit fed up of these crime series. Same auld same auld. Might just go back and watch The Wire again.
