Tv Shows & Mini Series (Part 1)

Shur look it, he is what he is.

I’ve never seen band of brothers. Or saving private Ryan either. Not my cup of tea those WW2 movies or shows.

Band of Brothers is class…

You should try Generation Kill… The Americans are made out to be the opposite of what they were in WW2.

Where would I be able to view Generation Kill so?

Haven’t a clue ---- cc @Copper_pipe

It’s a great show.

The front of the box says HBO.
I’m sure you could download it as a torrent or get it on a tinker box.

Must check it out. Check out Generation War. It’s brilliant.

I’ve seen it kid. Very enjoyable — You’ll thank me for the recommend after Generation Kill — the lads behind The Wire made it cc @Horsebox @Julio_Geordio

Just finished S3 mike, takes 2/3 eps to get back into it…enjoyed it.

Great viewing, had the box set in a presentation case etc, gave it out on loan, vanished

Just finished up watching Love/Hate there again tonight. Some show. Starts off a bit gawky but the last couple of seasons are :ok_hand:

Went back to it too. On the first season. As you said, a bit clunky but still very good

Season 2 on RTE now. Definitely one of best things RTÉ ever did

Watched it recently myself, I actually preferred the first few series of it

I think this series was the best . Aidan Gillen and the rest with paranoia etc …

John Boy was a great character. Gillen is tremendously camp and over the top.
