There was a great movie about the AIDs outbreak called the Band played On. Matthew Modine was the lead and it had a load of cameos.

Just watched the end of The Virtues.
It’s hard to put into words. Astonishing.
Graham is on a different level.
Niamh Algar and Helen Behan were unbelievably good.
It’s grim, it’s hard going, it’s absolutely essential watching.

Going to give Devils a go here on Sky Atlantic. First impressions are it will be shit. I’ll make an executive decision to watch the first season of quit after the 1st episode.
