Yes, watched a couple of episodes of it and it is average enough but has potential…not a real laugh out loud comedy

Some kind of mix between Blue Bloods (which is embarrassingly shit) and The Wire (which is the greatest cop show ever made). Thats what i got from Pilot. So going on that somewhere middle of the road for now, but of course it could go either way after.

Oh ya, Jennifer Beales is in it.

Season 4 of Californication  Rob Low is class in it!

HBO have reportedly signed ‘Superbad’ director Greg Mottola to helm the pilot of a new drama penned by ‘Social Network’ and ‘West Wing’ writer Aaron Sorkin.

Sorkin recently revealed that he is "loving the idea’ of returning to television. His last small screen series was the shortlived ‘Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip’, a behind-the-scenes drama about a late night sketch show, starring Matthew Perry.

This latest project also has focuses on the television business. It’s provisionally titled ‘More As The Story Develops’, and follows the on and off-screen lives of a cable channel news team.

Sorkin explained that he was “taking the same combination of idealism and romanticism and realism that made government sexy on ‘The West Wing’ and seeing if we can’t do the same with the news and journalism, which are held in at least as much contempt.”

So Sports Night II then…

Californication finished at the weekend, good last episode. Won’t ruin it for anyone, but its a great advert for how living a wild life come backs to haunt you in the end.

Yea, cos Californication was all about life lessons and morals

No it ad many more facets to it including outrageous entertainment. But there is certainly an element of the writers saying, “This is what happens”.

I’m not surprised you don’t see it though.

3 seasons of riding, fucking, snorting, drinking, screwing anything that he could and getting away with it and you believe its a morality play just because he gets his comeuppance at the end of it?! The shit they showed, the shit they talked about, the shit they portrayed, and you think this was a show about morality?!

I look forward to your in depth analysis of Bosco next

Anyone looking forward to Game Of Thrones?

I’ll give it a shot, being hyped up a lot.

Fuck all decent out there at the moment for the most part, I see sci fi tv is taking a big hit in the States with The Cape, The Event and No Ordinary Family being cancelled, and V unsure of a third series. Is it that they’re that bad or is there just not the audience for sci fi tv anymore?

Your logic makes no sense whatsoever. Of course they can show all those things and the show can be based on morals, or lack of.

Not sure if your suggesting Game Of Thrones is sci-fi? Anyway, haven’t seen any of those programmes other then V which is terrible.
