Red Eye is fairly good.

It was on ITV over the last few months. I had it recorded. Finished it last night.

Hierro is a Spanish TV crime series set on the little known Canary island of well, El Hierro.
The odd thing about it is that the murderer is revealed half way through the series. So a bit different. Itās a good idea
El Hierro is little visited as it doesnāt have an international airport as such. Even so itās very scenic and is very popular with walkers and divers seemingly. Iād love to go there.
Itās starting off fairly nicely. Iām sucked in and intrigued despite some memories of the previous movie.
The use of emails and mobile phones isnāt overly done and not spoiling it so far anyway.
Hopefully a few twists near the end.

Very well done. Ruth Negga certainly isnāt out of her depth with the big boys.
There was a twist at the end that was different than the movie.

Thereās talk of a second series but itās very early days yet. There is a second book in the series but itās set 20 years later. So the internet says itās unlikely to go that way.
Peter Sarsgaard says he wonāt do a second series. Iām sure he could be persuadedā¦

Thereās a second movie based on the second book.
Didnāt like the end of the series compared to the book. Thought it was a bit much.

A good series but a very disappointing ending. It lacked both credibility and intrigue.
