Very enjoyable. I’d have liked a bit of a wrap up on all the players though. Roddys absence was curious however and might point to a bit more perhaps.

calzaghe Was a great bit of stuff… unfortunately there were no true greats for him to fight when he was champ… a lot of fighters avoided him… he was an old school classy boxer… Collins gave up his belts and retired instead of fighting Joe… albeit calzage was much younger…

One for the things I learned today
Collins had a couple of domestic violence clouds hanging over him in the noughties according to google. No charges ever brought as far as i can see but his ex wife and new partner both made accusations at different times.

Some vigilant paper-shuffler in the BoI had twigged this fraudster as far back as 2004 but his warnings/alerts fell on deaf ears. He was probably transferred to Charleville for attempting to call a halt to things.
Lynn ingratiated himself into the arms of the hungry bankers of the era and the abuse of the solicitor’s undertaking only fuelled the fire.
