They were playing a very average side. A league of Ireland team should have put them out . Even a Tory weirdo could see “we” weren’t up to much .

Everton scraped past a bunch of part timers at home last week.
They should have comfortably won the first leg . They should have been two up at 30 minutes in second leg . They struggled a bit in second half ok . That said ET was tight enough . It was a chance lost for Dundalk .
Celtic were efficient tonight no more really . The standard of the game was poor .

A quick word for Forrest. He’s much maligned but
- He’s homegrown (squad restrictions)
- He can keep the ball fairly well
- He gets a few goals
- He ran them ragged once we scored
- That was a smashing finish for his goal.
Not the greatest ever Celtic player but a very useful guy to have in the squad.
