Hate the fucker, but that’s a great compliment to pay the man if anything.
Cork had very few run-ins with Richie Hogan. He was only a chap in 2008, 2010 was a ravaging, 2013 they got some surprising retribution. I suppose he contributed to Kilkenny overturning Cork in 2019 but we’ve seen surprisingly little of Kilkenny v Cork in recent years for a rivalry which defined the 00’s. Richie was still the apple of Michael O’ Sé’s Minor commentary eye at that stage.
