Putin explicitly denies the right to existence of a Ukrainian state and people and is committing a genocide to try and exterminate them. This is literally what Hitler did.
Putin invaded Ukraine because it wasnât in NATO. Ukraine should have been in NATO and should have been from 2008. We now see the consequences of it not being so.
This is why NATO exists. If youâre in NATO you donât get invaded by Nazis. This is why it is absolutely appropriate to call NATO an anti-imperialist organisation. It literally does not get more anti-imperialist than preventing you from being invaded by Nazis.
I donât necessarily disagree with you there, but then again, what does prolonging this war really achieve? I donât think it can be won in its current pattern by either side.
Surely an agreement and peace would be beneficial for everyone rather than putting more and more tinder on a fire isnt going to end well. It may require both sides signing up to positions which arent ideal but would that not be preferable than a potential WW3 nuclear war.
Its crazy that wanting a peaceful outcome which would surely benefit everyone better than a prolonged deadlock of unending war is deemed trolling but I suppose thats the way it is at the moment unfortunately.
