It’s not my bag but genuinely thought price would be double or more. These lads play a lot of the old Scottish courses so gave it a go. Soccer fans would think nothing of dropping 2-3k on a champions league final ticket.

That’s cracking value in fairness given so much is added in. I was looking at tickets for the Friday of Wimbledon and they cost nearly 8k. If st Marks basilica wins the Guineas I’ll consider it.

I looked up McGinley’s record there. Didn’t realise the extent to which he was a journeyman player. He only played in the Augusta Masters twice. So in that 30 year career on tour he was referring to, he essentially only got himself into the Top 50 twice to make the field. Could Sky not have provided an analyst who can impart some know how and insight into the serious business of contending for and winning Majors?
