There’s a persistent narrative that red states or those populated by Trump supporters are suffering more from Covid than blue states. This is another canard from the left that is counter factual. As of the end of June, 11 of the 12 states worst hit by Covid fatalities are blue states. Furthermore blue states have had the most strict lockdowns, and yet have suffered more than states that have had no lockdowns.
Obviously it’s a complex question, but one significant factor is that many states including New York and New Jersey passed policies that prohibited nursing homes from refusing to accept Covid positive patients, basically a death sentence for thousands of patients in those homes. Even today there are several states incentivizing nursing homes to take Covid patients.
The narrative around the uptick in cases outside of the north east has been very telling, certainly when you compare it to the NY surge.
Unfortunately it looks like Texas has an increase in deaths today, looks like the deaths are finally coming off of the floor after continuing to drop.
The question is though to what degree, we are still a long way from nearly 3k deaths a day as in April.

The nightly rioting was going on for 2 months before the Feds went in. Most of the troublemakers are white suburban unemployed or unemployable males. Yeah it’s clear what Trump is up to, give normal law abiding people a black and white choice between supporting anarchists or supporting the police. The local politicians are afraid of their shite as they know they will be personally targeted if they respond with a heavy hand.
It has all the makings of a late summer showdown.
The protests were down to 100 or so before he sent in the Feds. He is deliberately provoking a confontation, hoping for some deaths and then let it spread to Chicago and the rest. Creating deep division, that’s all he’s ever been good for. His Law and order mantra was misguided, now he is the one orchestrating the disorder to try and make it land
Wrong, the reality is local politicians are enabling violence and refused to confront it. Don’t believe the propaganda you hear on CNN or from the cowardly mayor. Portland has seen violence every night for the past two months, so unless you are on the side of violent scumbags it needs to be controlled. The mayor had the police stand down, so the thugs have had control of the streets. It’s ordinary people that are suffering, small business owners, downtown residents, etc.
Basically leftist morons will believe anything. They are playing right into Trump’s hands, as given a choice most normal people will support law and order over anarchy, and the longer it goes on the stronger that silent majority will get.
It’s clear the more Trump is in a poll slump the more he’s going to agitate for violence. Its desperation level stuff, how far behind is he now in the polls?

They’re not the problem mate, the lads trying to burn down buildings, using high powered lasers and various other weapons are the problem. There is no justification for what these scum are doing, and they are harming the cause of peaceful protesters. Public opinion is actually shifting quite a bit on this, the goodwill BLM had early on is evaporating ,quite a few BLM local leaders are speaking out against these mainly white violent extremists.

I hope your not relying on a repeat of the Bradley effect this time. The novelty effect on Trump is long worn off, even the Republican party are sick of him. Will be some accomplishment if he can’t defeat sleepy Joe alright, maybe thats why he’s become so desperate
