It amuses that the media and other avid followers of US politics give a blanket coverage to the US midterms the day after polling and then never follow up to see what the actual outcome was.

Trying to figure out or even provide a commentariat on what is happening or why its taking so long to tally votes in Clark County, Maricopa Arizona, Pueblo Colorado would have the whole country tearing its hair out and changing channel. The closest and most important race looks like being Laxalt in the senate in Arizona. He has a bank of rural votes that will break to him and a lead of about 15,800 at this current time so might hold on. That would leave senate deadlocked with a run off to come. Lake should win governor of Arizona with a huge bank of ballots cast on election day remaining to be counted. The senate race looks like being Kellys and a win for the Democrats there with what looks like an unassailable lead.
